Terry Supancic, Pastoral Associate
I
came to Ohio 28 years ago as my husband, Frank, joined the staff
of Warren City Schools. While staying home to raise two
daughters, I began to work in the church. With a Master's
Degree from St. Bonaventure University, teaching was the way to
begin. As a Catholic school teacher, Director of Religious
Education, Diocesan Family Life Director and now Pastoral
Associate here at Blessed Sacrament Parish Community I have been
blessed with an incredible faith journey. For the past 25
years I have met wonderful people that have been a gift to my
life. I hope to help the people here at Blessed Sacrament
to get closer to God and find the moments in their lives that
have been touched by God. The birth of my first grandson,
Andrew Joseph, has given me a glimpse of pure joy.
Jennifer and Dax live in Cincinnati with Andrew. Kelly and
Jim live in Cleveland and are expecting soon. Please call
me to help your faith journey in any way I can.
Matt
Abramowski, Director of
Faith Formation
Matt was born
and raised in Garfield Heights, Ohio. He attended Walsh
University in North Canton, Ohio where he completed his Bachelor
of Arts in Theology, Pastoral Ministry and Philosophy. As
Matt finished his undergraduate work, Walsh was in the process
of beginning a graduate program in theology. Matt entered
the program and was one of two students to graduate from the
inaugural class with a Master of Arts in Theology in Lay
Ecclesial Leadership. He is very grateful for the many
enriching experiences he had during his time as a student,
including: a one year internship at St. Michael the Archangel
Parish in Canton, Ohio; a summer internship with the Catholic
Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) that allowed him to work
with Mr. Brian R. Corbin (Executive Director of Catholic
Charities Services and Health Affairs) and reside with Rev.
Edward Noga (Pastor) at St. Patrick's in Youngstown, Ohio; his
time as an office coordinator for Walsh's Institute for Justice
and Peace; and being selected to serve as a graduate assistant
to Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano (Director of Walsh's graduate program
in Theology). Matt is excited about sharing in the
ministry of such a vibrant community at Blessed Sacrament.
He and his wife Kathy currently reside in Canfield, Ohio and
enjoy hiking and biking at Mill Creek.
